Sori up to 4 mmm whitish flat leaf spots. Embedded in the host tissue intercellular rather loose groups of hyaline spores. Spores globular, smooth, double-layered; ø 10-13 µm, wall 1-1.5 µm. Conidia of the hypophyllous anamorph cylindric, 3-4 x 10-28 µm, aseptate.
