on Dryas

gall

crimson to brown, less than half a mm large pustules consisting of a single cell. Often many together, then sometimes forming crusts.

host plants

Rosaceae, monophagous ?

Also mentioned from Potentilla by Redfern & Shirley (2011a). Indeed there has been discussion about a possible synonymy of cupulatum with S. potentillae, that does live on Potentilla.
