Numerous, 1-4 mm large, brownish black leaf spots, mainly in late summer. In late autumn they bear epiphyllous, semiglobular, yellowish brown, less than 0.1 mm sized conidiodomata; conidia 2-4 x 6-10 ┬Ám.
