light brown amphigenous leaf spots may ultimately occupy large portions of the leaves, especially near the tips; they are light brown, generally bordered by a dark brown to almost black border; the leaf tissue outside shows a brownish discolouration. Colonies brown, amphigenous, in the centre. Most conidiophores emerge through the stomata; they measure 4-7 x 20-125 µm; conidia in chains, 2-5 x 3-20 µm, 0-1-septate.
