Leaf spots with caespituli and ascodomata, mainly on fallen leaves. Caespituli: conidia hyaline 2-4 x 6-15 µm, aseptate. Ascomata black, predominantly hypophyllous, 70-110 µm; asci 5-7 x 30-45 µn, 8 spores, 3 x 8-9 µm, 1-septate.
