Leaf spots with caespituli, later pustules. Caespituli: conidia solitary, pale olivaeous, often warty, 5-9 x 15-24 µm, 1-septate. Pustules: perithecium with brown, thick-walled, ≤ 80 µm bristles; asci 9-14 x 50-68 µm, spores 4-7 x 10-17 µm.
