Leaf spots with perithecia en pycnidia. Perithecia often with some dark brown bristles; asci 18-26 x 90-125 µm, spores 10-16 x 18-30 µm. Pycnidia also on the twigs: conidia solitary, fusiform, olive brown, 9-14 x 25-40 µm, 1-2 septa.
