mycelium epiphyllous. Appressoria nipple-shaped or more or less strongly lobed, single or paired. Conidia solitary, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia with 4-6 asci, that contain 3-5 spores. Appendages numerous, sub-equatorial and equatorial, 0.5-3.5 x the diameter; they are septate, unbranched, basally ± brown, and have a rough surface.
