mycelium hypophyllous, thin, evanescent. Conidia formed solitary, without fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia hypophyllous, with 4-6 asci that contain 4-6 spores. Appendages 8-12, equatorial; at the tip they are suddenly broadened because they are bifurcated several times in quick succession.
