mycelium hypophyllous and on the twigs, thin. Conidia formed solitary, short-elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia with 5-8 asci, that contain 6-7 spores. Appendage 5-12, equatorial, 0.5-1 x the diameter; they are ± sickle-shaped, hyaline, aseptate, and have a rough surface. Apices uncinate-circinate.
