mycelium amphigenous, thin. Appressoria lobed, single or paired. Conidia solitary, long-elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Conidiophore made up of an elongated foot cell and 1 or 2 shorter cells. Cleistothecia, rarely formed, with 3-6 asci, that contain 3-7 spores. Appendages 7-25, sub-equatorial, 0.5-2.5 x the diameter; they are mycelioid, septate, simple; the lower half is brown.
