mycelium amphigenous, sometimes ± persistent. Appressoria lobed, single of paired. Conidia formed solitary, short-elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia with 3-15 asci, that contain 5-6 spores. Appendages numerous, sub-equatorial, 0.3-2.5 x the diameter; they are mycelioid, septate, ± hyaline, unbranched.
