gall

mycelium amphigenous, mainly epiphyllous, greyish white. Appressoria lobed to multilobed, mostly paired. Conidia formed solitary, elliptic, without fibrosin bodies. Foot cell of conidiophore curved at the base. Cleistothecia 60-110 µm, with 3-6 asci, containing 2(-4) spores. Appendages 7-20, equatorial, 1-1.5 x the diameter; they are stiff, almost straight, aseptate; apex strongly thickened, ± 2 x spirally wound.
