mycelium amphigenous, effuse. Conidia in short chains, without fibrosin bodies. Appressoria nipple-shaped. Cleistothecia: appendages 10-40, resembling ordinary hyphae, more or less brown, 0.3 – 3 x the cleistothecial diameter. Up to 25 asci per cleistothecium, with generally 2 spores.
