mycelium white, generally dense, amphigenous; partly internal. Conidiophores emerge through the stomata, septate. The first conidium formed is lanceolate, with the largest width ± halfway; later ones are oblong-elliptic. Cleistothecia rare; they contain up to 25 asci, that have two spores. Appendages few, shorter than the diameter, mycelioid.
