mycelium hypophyllous, white, tomentose, peristent. Conidiophores long, thin. Conidia formed one by one. The first conidium formed is slender-lanceolate, later ones are elliptic to cylindric. Cleistothecia contain 17-25 asci, that have two spores. Appendage poorly developed, sub-equatorial, shorter than the diameter; they are mycelioid, aseptate, hyaline, generally unbranched.
