gall

mycelium white, generally dense, felt-like, persistent, amphigenous; partly internal. Conidiophores long, thin, emerging through the stomata. Conidia single. The first conidium formed is broadly-ovoid, later ones are elliptic. Cleistothecia contain more than 20 asci, that have two spores. Appendages mostly numerous, mycelioid, attached below the equator, shorter than the diameter, irregularly branched.
