mycelium hypophyllous, on erineum galls. Conidia little present. Cleistothecia containing a single ascus with 8, unusually small, spores. Appendages 3-8, on or just above the equator, 1.5-2.5 times the diameter; they are stiff, brown, ± 4-septate; apically they are several times dichotomously branched in quick succession.
