mycelium hypophyllous, inconspicuous. Conidia very scarce, formed in chains, with fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia with a single ascus, containing 8 spores. Appendages in varying number, sub-equatorial, shorther than the diameter; they are mycelioid, light brown, septate, unbranched.
