mycelium amphigenous, also on stems, thin, ± persistent. Conidia oval, formed in chains, with fibrosin bodies. Cleistothecia 60-70 µm, often in groups, with a single ascus, containing 8 spores. Appendages less than 10, brown, mycelioid, septate, attached to the lower half of the cleistothecium, 0.5-1.5 its diameter.
