Branch cankers. Centimeter-sized, ultimately erumpent stroma. The embedded perithecia open with a long neck, that even extend for a mm in the open, but breaks off easily. Asci 8-12 45-55 µm, spores 3-4 x 11-17 µm, 1-septate.
