uredinia yellow, small, hypophyllous, with club-shaped, thin-walled paraphyses. Urediniospores 12-16 x 13-20 µm thin-walled (1.5 µm), very finely spinulose. Telia usually hypophyllous, subepidermal, brownish, crustose.
