Spermogonia yellow. Aecia also on the stems, orange, without a peridium. Uredinia orange, with many, clavate, paraphyses; de diameter of the heads is 17-25 µm, the wall thickness 4-5 µm. Telia amphigenous, subepidermal, brownish black.
