uredinia hypophyllous, not causing leaf spots, 0.5 mm, yellow, flat. Throughout the uredinium stand paraphyses on a thin stem that rather gradually widens into a club-like head with uniformly thickened wall. Urediniospores oval, with spines all over. Telia 0.5 mm, often in groups, brown, subepidermal; teliospores columnar.
