No host alternation. Spermogonia yellow, hypophyllous. Aecia yellow, hypophyllous, inconspicuous, pulverulent, without a peridium. Telia hypophyllous, smalll dark brown crusts, subepidermal; they are formed only late in autumn on the older leaves.
