spermogonia and aecia unknown. Uredinia hypophyllous; some paraphyses; the urediniospores are formed below the orange-yellow coloured epidermis. The teliospores are formed within de epidermis cells, in groups of 2-4.

the spermogonia and aecia of this species are unknown; it is expected that they develop on Abies (Klenke & Scholler).
