Spermogonia amphigenous, yellowish brown, not numerous. Aecia hypophyllous, in compact groups, on yellowed spots; also on somewhat galled petioles. The spore mass is bright yellow; the peridium is whitish to yellowish white, not recurved; spores 14-19 x 14-21 µm.
