Rubus caesius, from González-Fragoso (1925a): uredinium (section)
gall
Spermogonia epiphyllous subcuticular pustules, 0.2 mm, on red spots. Aecia epiphyllous, yellow. Uredinia hypophyllous, often extending over the entire leaf, often also on the stems and petioles, yellow, similar to the aecia. The uredinia are not surrounded by paraphyses, which distinguishes them from those of the Phragmidium species on bramble. Telia (occurring quite rarely) hypophyllous, pulvinate, yellow or white; spores in chains of c. 5-7 cells.
