only telia known. These hypophyllous, blackish brown, with clublike to curved paraphyses. Teliospores 47-80 µm long, elliptic, consisting of (3)4-5(6) cells, each with hyaline warts and 2(3) pores. At the tip a rounded papilla or a 15 µm long distinct apiculus. Pedicel up to 90 µm, hyaline, swelling in water.
