Hyparrhenia hirta, from González Fragoso (1924a): urediniospores and paraphyses

no host alternation, only uredinia and (raely) telia. Uredinia mainly hypophyllous, cinnamon coloured, on brownish spots. Many, initially hyaline, ultimately brownish paraphyses, 30-42 µm long, their apex with a diameter of 10-14 µm. Urediniospores 20-26 x 25-32 µm, warty, with 6-7 dispersed pores. Telia hypophyllous, brownish black, erumpent; spores 2-celled, 19-25 x 30-35 µm, smooth; pedicel hyaline, thick, up to 67 µm.
