no host alternation, uredinia and telia. Uredinia amphigenous, not on spots, small, pulverulent, cinnamon coloured; spores 16-23 x 22-27 µm, with (2)3 germination pores. Teliospores 20-25 x 38-48 µm, finely verrucose; pedicel hyaline, up to somewhat longer than the spore, soon falling off.
