No host alternation. Spermogonia, aecia, uredinia.and telia mostly hypophyllous. Aecia small, cupulate, white; spores orange, finely verrucose, without smooth zones (contrary to Uromyces lineolatus). Uredinia cinnamon coloured, pulverulent; spores unicellular. Telia blackish brown; spores two-celled, on a deciduous pedicel.
