Spermogonia, aecia unknown. Uredinia and telia mainly on stems and petioles. Uredinia ferrugineous, powdery, telia black, more compact. Urediniospores on average 20 x 22 µm, finely spinulose, with 5-9 pores without a papilla. Teliospores 24 x 40 µm, almost not constricted at septum, almost smooth with globular apex; pedicel ≤ 120 µm, plae brown.
