Aecia hypophyllous, in groups, cupulate, with white, recurved margin split into segments and yellow spores. Uredinia and telia hypophyllous, brown. Urediniospores 21-24 x 23-28 µm with 2, generally equatorial pores. Teliospores two-celled, 19 x 39 µm, with apically thickened wall.
