No hostplant alternation, only uredinia and telia. Uredinia amphigenous, dispersed over the leaf, light chestnut brown. Telia blackish brown, pulverulent. Teliospores short-oval, 2-celled, somewhat constricted; wall smooth, apically weakly thickened; pedicel long, thick, persistent.
