Spermogonia maonly epiphyllous, aecia cupulate, mainly hypophyllous. Uredinia and telia amphigenous, cinnamon and blackish brown, respectively. Urediniospores spinulose, 2(3) pores, 14-22 x 16-23 µm. Teliospores 2-celled, finely punctuated, 28-26 x 20-34 µm.
