Uredinia epiphyllous, orange yellow, pulverulent; between the spore clavate or capitate, light brown paraphyses; spores 13-16 x 13-20, with ± 6 distributed germination pores. Telia epiphyllous, small, black, soon naked, without paraphyses; spores two-celled, apically with several digitiform processes, on a short, brown, persistent pedicel.
