No hostplant alternation, telia only. They are dark brown, long covered by the epidermis, hypophyllous, in large coalescing groups, also on the petioles. Spores 2-celled, 12-21 x 26 x 46 µm, smooth, on a deciduous pedicel of c. 30 µm.
