no host alternation, uredinia and telia. Uredinia amphigenous, dark brown, on yellow spots, often in length rows. Urediniospores 16-27 x 24-45 µm, verrucose, with 4-5 germination pores; wall apically thickened to 8 µm. Numerous clavate paraphyses, stalk up to 60 µm, head diameter up to 20 µm; stalk hyaline, head yellowish to brown. Telia blackish brown, amphigenous, on yellow spots. Spores 2-celled, oval, 14-22 x 24-37 µm; pedicel attached laterally, thick, hyaline, up to 48 µm.
