No host plant alternation, uredinia enn telia. Uredinia dispersed over the leaves, rarely the stems, pulverulent pale brown; spores 22-24 x 24-30 µm with 2, ± equarial pores at opposite sides. Telia on the stems, dark brown; spores 2-clled, 20-26 x 30-40 µm, wall uniformly thin; pedicel short.
