No host plant alternation; only telia. Telia mostly hypophyllous, preferably along the veins, on brown leaf spots, brown, often confluent. Spores two-celled; rather slender, 12-19 x 38-47 µm; wall smooth, apically somewhat thickened; pedicel persistent, up to 35 µm.
