No host plant alternation. Spermogonia amphigenous, conical. Aecia orange-yellow, mainly hypophyllous, scattered over the entire, somewhat galled, leaf; peridium white. No uredinia. Telia scattered over the plant, 0.5 mm, blackish brown, soon naked. Teliospores two-celled, broadly elliptic, wall smooth, uniformly thin; pedicel hyaline, thin, deciduous.
