No host plant alternation; telia only. They are hypophyllous, dark brown, compact, long covered by the epidermis, on sharply delimited yellow to reddish leaf spots, often of galled parts; the spores are two-celled smooth, wall apically strongly thickened; pedicel yellow, persistent, up to 80 µm.
