aecia pustules, opening by a pore, hypophyllous, yellow, on small yellow spots, not causing galling. Uredinia hypophyllous, tiny, cinnamon-coloured; spores with 2-3 dispersed spores. Telia similar, but dark brown. Teliospores two-celled, ovoid, not constricted, without papillae; wall uniformly thin, very finely verruculose; pedicel hyaline, short, deciduous.
