gall
no host plant alternation, only telia. Telia hypophyllous, numerous, black, pulverulent. In the telia a small number of urediniospores is formed; they are globular, 35 µm in ø, and have 3 germination pores with clear papillae. Teliospores 2-celled, wall uniformly thick, top cell often with a low papilla; pedicel hyaline, brittle, shorter than, rarely as along as, the spore.
