no host plant alternation, only uredinia and (very rarely) telia. Uredinia mainly hypophyllous, also on the petioles, on yellow spots, orbilculate, ferruginous, pulverulent. Spores on average 22 x 29 µm, with 3-4 conspicuous equatorial germination pores.
