uredinia hypophyllous, light brown, on yellow spots. Urediniospores with 3(4) equatorial pores, wall thickness 1-2 µm. Telia blackish brown. Teliospores 2-celled, almost without constriction clavate, narrowing into the pedicel; wall smooth, apical part of top cell moderately thickened; pedicel hyaline, up to half as long as the spore.
