Puccinia salviae

Puccinia salviae Unger, 1836

No host plant alternation, only telia, in two types: a) light brown, hypophyllous, pulverulent; the spores in the telia germinate almost immediately; and b) dark brown. compact, amphigenous, also on the stems; the spores formed here germinate only after the hibernation. The spores are two-celled, short-oval, smooth, on a persistent pedicel of up to 90 µm.
