No host plant alternation, no aecia, spermogonia unknown. Uredinia and telia hypophyllous, on yellowed leaf spots, pulverulent, brown and dark brown, respectively. Urediniospores 22-27 x 26-32 µm with 2(3) germination pores, not capped by a papilla; wall apically often thickened. Teliospores 2-celled, ob-pyriform; wall smooth, of irregular thickness; pedicel short, brownish, breaking off.
