No host plant alternation, no uredinia. The fungus is systemic, the plant remains sterile, the leaves look unhealthy, the aecia and telia are distributed all over the leaves. Aecia numerous, amphigenous, cupulate, peridium whitish. Telia amhpigenous, scarce, blackish brown, tiny. Teliospores two-celled, short-elliptic, hardly constricted; wall smooth, thin; pedicel hyaline, thin, deciduous.
